Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories

New series I'm watching on Netflix. Pretty low-key and interesting show. Would recommend; especially if you like Japan, its culture and people.

Will have to check it out.

Title reminds me of a time when I arrived in Shinjuku only to see a lighted cafe on the second level of a building outside of a video arcade. We walked into the cafe only to see a couple small tables.

The only other patron there was a guy dressed in all designer clothing smoking a cigarette reading a newspaper.

We came to the conclusion that this diner was a yakuza front.

The person preparing our food and all the other staff smoking made us believe it more, haha

Been in a similar situation so I know exactly what you're talking about. Lol

But yes, check out the series. Makes me really miss Japan. Thinking about going back.

Been to Japan several times. Absolutely the best country in the world and I've been a lot of places. I love you Japan and your people.
