The link doesn't seem to work...

If it helps, I have two types of PIAA, one better than the other but not great in the daytime. I'm now waiting for my HID conversion kit to be delivered this week. In fact, just checked my box and I have the H457... more yellow than white in my opinion.

Thanks Danny, you took the URL out of my mouth!

I keep thinking that HID in the DRL's will look tooooo bright and maybe a bit fast and furious. These are supposed to an identical lux level as the yellow OEM.

P.S Sorry for raising this again but every set I have seen are either dull in daylight or too bright

Yep those are the ones that look more like the original bulbs in their colour. The PIAA LED's are better but still difficult to see when the sun is out.

Are you saying these are more yellow than white?

Are the led's brighter in daylight?

HID's are only a bit brighter than the new angel eyes in the 5 GT, if they had looked like fast and furious I wouldn't have continued with the install. The last thing I would want is my car to look like I have covered it in glue and ram raided halfords

Yes they are more yellow than white in my opinion. They are whiter than the stock bulbs but when compared to the LED's they still look yellowish. LED's are not brighter in the daylight though, bizarrely! If you can wait until Wednesday I will try and take a photo of each so that you can see!

Everyone is going out of their way to find that perfect 'white' DRL (including me). Why can't we just get them from the factory like the X5!!

I do think that when the X6 gets its mid life facelift then the new White DRL's will be added. If we wait then it will mean replacing both headlights at a cost not far from £1000 so we need a good alternative that is cost effective but has the OEM look.

^ I agree, hope the facelift is not anytime soon. Good luck with the PIAAs, let us know how it works out for you!
