Huge improvement! Surprised you didn't have the orange reflectors painted when doing all the other paintwork?
Do you live on a gravel road - curious why the mud flaps? |

Nice!
Great color, but ... that 3 way trailer hitch ball has to go (when not in use of course!). And put a nice cap on the receiver opening. Show us what you tow.

I might've dropped her a little too much, ride is decent, but I'm backing her up to stock height for the winter. I'm from Boston MA Christopher06....
- @jiggz, Bro I had a bunch of people ask me whats up with mud flaps lol, I personally love them, gives the entire body more stance when lowered. Didn't do the orange markers because I didn't want it to look very after market. Bunch of people asked me already what trim x5 that is from BMW. When I tell em' they don't believe me, and thats exactly point. The car is clean and looks stock. Last edited by BrazilianE70; 10-01-2015 at 07:50 AM.. |

Wow that looks very nice.
I have the exact same X5 as yours and was wishing to do the same thing.. Paint the plastics! How did you do it? Did you do it yourself or bodyshop did it? How much did it cost you? |

Night and day! I'm with you on the orange reflectors: I don't mind them. And the mud flaps give it a bit more of an aggressive look. I suppose you can always take them off for a bit if you want to.
How is the paint sticking on the plastic? Is it holding up OK? And I agree: would be good to get some LCI rear lights. |

I personally prefer the taillights that are currently on the car, with the lines, real slick. Paint sticks great, but only because the rough plastic bumpers were smoothed out. I did not do the body work and paint myself. Had a reputable shop do it. Cost me $1,400 to have it smoothed out, painted and installed along with the aftermarket aero kit. I honestly think for the quality work they did on my car, it was a bargain!
