Sunroof Vacuum
Hi guys,
Any clever solutions for only having the sunroof open? I always have to crack the windows. I've had 4 cars with sunroofs. Two had the issue, two didn't. |

Mine is dead quiet with it open to the first stop and all windows closed. I've actually forgotten it was open and left it parked like that a couple of times. If you go past the first stop and open fully then yes, it does get loud. Nothing you can do about that - aerodynamics.

The half way open trick worked!
I think I have a wind deflector. It is a mesh screen that opens up about two inches on the front of the roof opening. It's strange that it's mesh if it's supposed to deflect wind...seems more like a bug catcher then anything else. I wonder if there are aftermarket wind deflectors that would solve the issue and allow it to be opened all the way. Joe |

Yeah, I've had a few cars with a "soft stop" for the roof at the non-buffeting point. Too bad in this car you can't open our huge roof all the way!
