Hello there, undecided between rft or none rft?
Hey there people in the market for a new tires for 20 inch I have 14000 km on my 2011 X5 35D. As with any sport package my rear tires are worn on the inside ( positive camber) and the front are worn on the outside( negative camber) but I am getting a four wheel alignment to get it close to within 0 degrees hoping for my tires to last longer than it did, don't feel like changing tires once a year at $2400 a set. Anyhow any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance fellow bimmers

ur paying $600 per tire? that seems high im sure there are cheaper options. obv non rfts are gonna give u a nicer ride and cost less so if thats the issue im not sure what ur asking...just fix ur alignment so ur tires wear regularly, u should get 4x what u are saying u got from this set.

Hey there biff, yeah with my alignment out it worn my tires sooner than I like. So, I might switch to non rft. Any specific tires you'd recommend? Pirelli? Or should I stay with rft? I have a seven seater so carrying a spare is out of the question cause as we know there isn't much trunk space. I have 14000 km on it but 8600 km of that, we drove from Prince Rupert BC to Gardena California which is a very beautiful drive....

hmmmmm, well i would 100% recommend nonrft's if possible, but if having a spare is important to you then u may want to stick with the rft's. and yeah you cant go wrong with pirellis, thats what i have and im very hapy with them. i know toyos and contis are decent aswell i think it boils down to ersonal prefrence. pirelli non rft's ftw no doubt

I hope when u say "0 degrees", you mean "to factory specs". Not "0 degrees" as in Kia Sephia!
If the second statement is where your headed.....I'd rethink it. I would hope the dealer or any reputable alignment shop would never do it! I'm not trying to be an ass...I don't like it either, but I love the "Ultimate Driving SUV"! |
