Need New Tire Recommendations

Just looking for something sporty but that can still handle the snow that we'll get here in Pennsylvania. The problem I am having with the current stock tires are that they are just so loud and cupped, which I kind of expected since they are so wide. But I didn't think that they would wear out with only 10k

Do you have sport tires or all season tires on your x6 now?

What size tires are you running? If you are running 20's or 22's, I recommend Continental ExtremeContact DSW(Dry-Snow-Wet). They are great all season tires. Especially for Pennsylvania and East coast winters.

If you are running 21's, I would just recommend getting snow tires with 19's for the winter, cause everything in 21's are runflats.

It has the 20's, how do they hold up in the long run? Or will it be pretty much every 10k miles that they'll start getting noisy again?

I would definitely go for contis. All tire thread life are based on driving habits though. You can read the reviews at tirerack, discounttiredirect or 1010tire.com. Hope that helps.

+1 on the continental DWS

I had them on my 535xi, and the car was unstoppable in the snow and were better then the stock goodyears on dry and wet.

Just ordered a set.

Please clarify your use of the word unstoppable? Negative or positive? Thanks
