I am thinking about upgrade the Angel Eyes. However, I found so many kits are avail out there. The price range is from $229 - $65.99. Anyone can tell me what's the major difference ? What's the best brand ? What's your experience if you already changed it.
$229 http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....rt_cd/MDSLUXH8 $149 http://www.bimmian.com/70/LHU/ $65.99 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-LED...ts_Accessories By the way, is this something easy to instal ? |

The main difference is going to be in the quality of the design. We had the opportunity to carry those Ebay LEDs but they do not produce a full ring because the LEDs are not angled properly. We carry the WeissLicht LED Angel Eyes which are well priced and do a solid job of changing the color to a xenon white.

Cryptic23... have you bought yours yet? I'm seriously considering the HID conversion too but would like some feedback on installation and effect etc... I currently have the PIAA LED's and have never been completely happy with them.

HID will be brighter than LED...it's the ease of install that can be a deal breaker..again tho, if you're tech/mechanically savy or since can find someone to install the hid kit...go that route...

i will post the pics as soon as i have fitted them , it will be a few days though as they are coming from the states to me in the uk. I had the PIAA led's and they ok at night as are most LED markers but during the day rubbish , i have also had the PIAA H8 bulbs RUBBISH !. Seriously i have tried them all, HID is they only way you will achieve what you want, also you can change the HID bulbs , i am going with 8K but also have a set of 6k bulbs so will see which i like most... Pics will be up as soon as i get them, i will fit them the same day ! |

HID solution will give you the brightest light bar none, however, it is not plug and play and there are messy wiring and ballasts to deal with...also, most kits will throw errors unfortunately. It's a tradeoff.

I was contacted by Bimmian and there was a mix up in the instructions I was sent, I will be sending back the lights. Since Bimmian has made good to back up what they sell I wanted to point it out. So the lights might not have worked out for me but purchasing from Bimmian has. |
