LED Halo Upgrade Kit for E70

I am thinking about upgrade the Angel Eyes. However, I found so many kits are avail out there. The price range is from $229 - $65.99. Anyone can tell me what's the major difference ? What's the best brand ? What's your experience if you already changed it.

$229

$149

The main difference is going to be in the quality of the design. We had the opportunity to carry those Ebay LEDs but they do not produce a full ring because the LEDs are not angled properly. We carry the WeissLicht LED Angel Eyes which are well priced and do a solid job of changing the color to a xenon white.

Cryptic23... have you bought yours yet? I'm seriously considering the HID conversion too but would like some feedback on installation and effect etc... I currently have the PIAA LED's and have never been completely happy with them.

So the real question here should be HID VS LED kit. It looks like all ppl agreed on HID. Am I right ?

HID will be brighter than LED...it's the ease of install that can be a deal breaker..again tho, if you're tech/mechanically savy or since can find someone to install the hid kit...go that route...

HID solution will give you the brightest light bar none, however, it is not plug and play and there are messy wiring and ballasts to deal with...also, most kits will throw errors unfortunately. It's a tradeoff.

I apologize on behalf of Bimmian, we work closely with them and I am sorry to hear of your troubles. If you had purchased from us, we would make sure you get your money back 100% or get you exchanged with a new unit. In any case, feel free to shoot me a PM, I'll try to do everything in my power to help you out.

I have the bimmian WeissLicht LED's fitted to my 2008 X6 with no error codes at all. Good quality and easy to fit and as bright if not a bit brighter than the stock H8 bulbs. Got them shipped in 3 days to the uk

+1 with flipside99...if the kit is done correctly (ballasts and power tap/relay's) you will not get error codes...that's why I recc brabus209wamg's kit...NO ERRORS with his kit...

I was contacted by Bimmian and there was a mix up in the instructions I was sent, I will be sending back the lights. Since Bimmian has made good to back up what they sell I wanted to point it out. So the lights might not have worked out for me but purchasing from Bimmian has.
