New X6 Owner

Hi all,

I just recently purchased a CPO 2011 x6 50, not my first BMW but my first X6. I have a few questions

1) Ambient lighting - my car came with the ambient lighting package, with the interior light brightness turned all the way up you can barely see the lighting and in fact by only putting your hand right up to the panels. any idea / thoughts on whether something is actually wrong or whether it is just REALLY dim. has anybody upgraded this I feel like i have seen pictures of it on other X6's and it is MUCH brighter.

2) I am leaning towards the Active Auto software at some point general thoughts?

3) iDrive updates does anybody know of or how to get updates or customized drive files etc.

4) exhaust I would like to do a rear sec ion exhaust but was disappointed to see that Dinan doesn't make an exhaust for it. I don't want to make it much louder or have any droning but would like a bit more sound.

About the Exhausts, get the M Performance Exhausts (or might aswell fit the whole package) makes it sound waaaaay better than a GMC Truck, and they sound good....

The ambient lighting is definitely VERY dim - mine is the same as well.

Perhaps if you can figure out what kind of bulb it is, a seller online may have a higher wattage part, but don't go too crazy or you'll have a fire on your hands.
