What are your thoughts on the pistol caliber carbines?

I've been looking at the kriss vector lately and considering canadian laws where rifle/carbine mags must be pinned to 5 rounds, the vector's use of pistol mags would allow them to be pinned to 10 rounds which is nice.

I have been looking for a KelTec pistol carbine for a while. I like them, they are definitely an interesting niche product.

I think they're awesome. Check out mechtech, they make uppers that fit Glock/XD/1911 frames and use their magazines.

I have a Tavor in 9mm. One of my favorites to shoot.

I have *only* four ARs built and a stripped lower waiting for a build, as well as the two AKs. Can't wait to get back to CONUS to get back into the firearms.

Have done this, The most natural is my P226 Mk25 9mm.
I handle and shoot that handgun superbly,...& I scare myself

I will let you know soon. It's fun to shoot and at this point the accuracy is good inside of 250yds. I would imagine it is a hogzilla killing machine but have not tested. I got to imagine a 300gr bullet traveling at over 2000fps will do the trick on just about anything.

It's stupid expensive to shoot which is a negative. I always wanted one and the uppers went on sale for like $489. I jumped on it. I have more than that in the lower and more than twice that in the optics which is what matters. That's why I love building them. Most barrels perform, it's the lower half that makes it a shooter in my opinion.

Been a while since I've seen this thread.

Anyone tried any of the following:
Gen 5 glock. Is it more accurate with"marksman barrel"?
Newer colt commander 9mm series 70. Recoil compared to 5"?
How are the new sig Romeo rds holding up? I might buy a Rx sig just to give the red dot a whirl.
Mp 2.0 compact.( actual g19 sized)

Keep up the posts! I'd love to see more 1911s. I carry an HK, but 1911s are great to play with now and then.
