X5 LCI rear view camera retrofit to pre-LCI X5?

Hey guys

I have a 2008 pre LCI X5 and the rear view camera decided not to work at all. Errors in dashboard, image is scrambled like a bad tv cable signal.
So i will change it.

Question is: is it possible to retrofit the camera from the LCI X5 which has better resolution? Or i am "stuck" with the old crappy model?

retrofit CIC, and then you can retrofit the camera module and the new camera. Otherwise, the RFK module is built into the pre-lci camera and the LCI camera does not have this module.


In short, you won't get it to work with the CCC nav.
