3.0 SD DPF help

I am trying to sort out the DPF on my 3.0SD e70. The DPF warning light came on a little while back. My first port of call was to remove the DPF and have it flash cleaned. I know a blocked DPF is a symptom of some other issue, but I thought I might get a few months out of a freshly cleaned DPF, unfortunately not.

I can’t remember exactly what the soot and ash levels where after the clean, but I’m pretty sure they weren’t in single digits. Anyway, the light is back on…

My current soot and ash levels are:

04.03.2018 18:14:25 Soot mass Ash mass Regeneration requested Average engine speed
04.03.2018 18:14:25 71.580002 51.199997 8.000000 1703.902222

I had glow plug error codes which after replacing the plugs and control module have been cleared. I have removed the swirl flaps, cleaned the EGR and replaced the crankcase oil breather, so I think that I should be a in reasonable shape. However I don’t seem to be able to force a regen.

I was wondering if the soot/ash were to high preventing a regen. I do have some other fault codes but they all seem to relate to the DPF:

I’m not sure what I should try next any ideas appreciated. I am holding off getting a refry or aftermarket def as I don’t want it to get blocked up straight away, especially as it was a faff to get off in the first place.
