Problem with 35d x5 p0112 and p0675

Hey guys, I've been having a check engine light on my x5 for awhile now, it's showing 2 codes which are p0112 intake air temperature sensor and p0675 cylinder 5 glow plug curcuit. Now the x5 runs fine, nothing noticeable. I did just replaced the intake air temperature sensor, and replaced the air filter (it was dirty) and cleaned the MAF sensor, and both codes are still there. On Bosch code reader says they are permanent, trying to erase them, and the check engine light turns off, until the car is restarted and it's back on. I did a lot of research already, before I posted this, and no luck. Please let me know where to look, I can't afford to pay $190 to BMW for diagnostics just yet, but will have to if nothing else can be done. Also to note, I took the car on a long trip from WA to CA, and my mpg was 25. I'm not sure if that's normal or if it's suppose to be more. The car has power, I didn't notice any power reduction.

It is very likely the sensor is having issues due to oil in the charge pipe.
This oil mist is coming out of crank case ventilation, getting into intake, through intercooler and into throttle valve and further into intake manifold.
Take it out and clean first (though new one doesn't seem to be very expensive (Part # 13627812741 $45 online)).

The permanent code may not be able to erase with simple Autozone OBD reader.

You need software like Carly or Rheingold (what dealers use).

As far as calibration, I briefly looked up this sensor in Rheingold - does not look like any calibration is required on replacement.

Hey thank you for the help. I did indeed changed the IAT sensor, the old one was covered in oil, which I was a surprised, but now makes sense. Are those software expensive to buy? I'm assuming I would just need a cable and a software for the laptop

See this link for Rheingold software source and install instructions (a free option, for lack of better word).
Carly is a smartphone/tablet+adaptor option, offering other alternatives, such as customized reports and being able to get values on a sensor over period of time (such as NoX parts per million over period of time, nicely put in spreadsheet, something Rheingold does not do).
I plan to get it soon, as I am finding myself limited by Rheingold.

Recently fixed this issue for a BMW X5 2011 35D. Check engine light on with the P0102 & P0112 code.

Steps taken to fix the issue:
Step 1. Changed the engine air filter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006EGQ8ZU) with no success. The filter was overdue anyways.
Step 2. Replaced bosch maf sensor with new bosch oem sensor (https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-Origina.../dp/B00BHL3GE8)
Step 3: Drove for about 50 miles and the check engine light went away after a few starts.
