BMW of Bridgeport listing http://www.bmwofbridgeport.com/used/...5027c23558.htm

It looks like I'm taking a trip up to CT. the price is a little over my budget but I'll check it out regardless...as for M cars, I've had my M3 for 10 years now and its been very good to me, I just had inspection 2 done last week by BMW of Greenwich. Funny you mention Local 992, my freind is also a Teamster Local 456(Yonkers) mechanic who I take with me to look at cars. Your M looks nice and clean and it looks like we have the same exact baby seat

As for repairs, no particular problems yet. Now up to 30 000 km, nothing has broken. I only have an uneven wear on the tires both rear and front and some cosmetic touch ups. I've already done 2 oil changes, one at 7 000 km for which I paid for and one at 20 000 km. I had to put 1 quart at 15 000 km.

Working as advertised except for some minor fixable details like the 12 volt plug going off after 30 minutes or an Idrive display bug after starting the vehicule.

Also, you have to live with the sandblasting of the lower rocker panels if you live up north.

Thanks I found a Monte Carlo Blue with silver stone interior, only problem I'm having is the truck is 6 hours away from me. Both me and my wife have crazy work schedules so I asked the dealer (Bobby Rahal BMW for anyone who wants to check it out) if I could finalize the deal at the beginning of next month when we will both be on vacation...I left a substantial downpayment, but the sales manager wants it off his lot before May. Hopefully I can close the deal without anymore issues

Update: So I got my deposit back on the 2010 X5M from the BMW dealer after requesting high res pics from their photographer of the silverstone interior. I wasn't a big fan of the ss interior to begin with, after seeing the close ups of the very dirty seats I immediately called and requested a refund on my deposit. I found an '11 X5M MCB with black interior for the same price fully loaded except for the annoying rear seat entertainment tv which interferes with elbow room on Carmax. I paid $999 to have it shipped from Cali(no rust like east coast cars ) to Connecticut which will take 28 days. My question is has anybody purchased a car from Carmax and bought their extended 5 yr 120k mile warranty for roughly $4k? I've read from a few old posts that It's a pretty good warranty and that BMW honors their warranty as well. Should I make an appointment for a ppi with BMW before the truck gets here since I have up to 5 days to return the truck for a 100% money back guarantee if i decide not to keep it. Only bad thing is the $999 is non refundable. I appreciate any advice

You did the right choice I never understood modding the 50i with the X5M being readily available.

What year, options and make with the photos

If you are picking it up in Hartford let me know and I can take you for a ride with the Velos tune so you can immediately not like your car as much. I yet to hear any bad things from CarMax. When you get the car go to New Country BMW it is less than a mile from car max and print out the vehicle service history

Lol, I'm still debating between getting the Velos or AA tune. It's being delivered to the Carmax in East Haven CT. 1 1/2 hours from me. I called my SA to ask him if he could do a service history report, but haven't heard back from him yet. All I know so far from Carmax is it had 1 owner and no accidents.

I'm actually keeping my X5 50i since it still has 3 yrs 50k miles left on the warranty and my wife loves it, i'm trading in my E46 M3 since i never really drive it that much. I don't have any pics yet since they removed it from their page. It has pretty much everything but the rear seat entertainment and the cameras on the front bumper, whatever that option is called. Expected due date is around May 15-18, the wait is going to kill me

Side view camera S5DKA. You're not missing much. I've only used it a handful of times.
