Needing help buying a x5

Hey guys

New to this forum, currently own a 135i prior to that 335i but wanting some advice on what to look out for when buying an x5.
I was going to switch back to a 335i but e90 but as my family is growing I think an x5 would be more suitable haha

Im looking between 2007 to 2009 models
Seen a lot in Australia with a lot of kms on them but quite cheap
What should I look out for?
How much is servicing?
What are the problems with some x5's?
I am new to this car as I have never owned one before

haha i've been there, any idea on what trim? (3.0, 5.0 or M) ?

For 07-09 your options are 3.0i, 4.8i, and 35d. 3.0 is an inline 6 n/a, 4.8 is a n/a v8, and 35d is a turbo diesel I6.
