X Meet NYC (((((New Page...Check For Updates))))
Just wanted to start a new page that didnt have a date on it so we can make rolling updates......No meet this week unless anyone else wants to get a quick one together.....been out of town and havent been able to scout out any places....im going to try and get some sort of permit for Astoria Park since I met the supervisor there and see if we can get a section of the strip coned off for next week for us......
Check back for updates...........

Bay Terrace Shopping Center is looking like a good option....plenty of lighting and room. Anyone know how security is and if its still crowded after 8? I know its a busy property

Let me know. I live in Jamaica, Queens and I would be interested to bring my baby to one of those meets even though it will be my first one. If I can get a time, date and location within the 5 boroughs, as long as it don't interfere with work... im there!

Hey guys just wanted to give everyone an update. Here's what I'm looking at. Let me know what you guys think.
Ditmars Blvd between 33rd and 35th Street in Astoria. On this block in the heart of Astoria there are several restaurants. There is a Diner, Sushi, Thai, Burger joint and Greek. Its all metered parking except in front of the supermarket next door to the Greek restaurant where its a bus lane. (uh oh) My thoughts are to roll up and take up the entire bus lane and all the metered parking as it becomes available. Now if you guys dont mind risking a parking ticket....but at 8pm at night and after there really isnt anything to worry about...Its a fantastic street with several of the restaurants offering sidewalk cafe dining. Im going to try and get some cones to block off some of the metered parking and see what happens. Here are some pics of the street at night....Its VERY well lit as you can see from the market and other restaurants and businesses although the cell phone pic really doenst show it....... I think it would be a great time to hang and perhaps make a mini show out of it if enough cars show up there will be plenty of people to check out the rides and get some awesome food and drinks instead of hanging in a parking lot....... My thoughts moving forward if it works is to get together with Peter Vallone Jr. the local City councilman and try to get the street closed off every other Tuesday night for a few hours and make it a show just like the Thursday meet in Glen Cove with the MAC boys, making it a donation to a charity participation event......

Tuesday July 12th.....HK Restaurant/Lounge NYC.....corner Of 39th & 9th......section of street will be coned off for us to park....meet on The 39th Street Side.....8pm....great food.....bar.....
I sincerely hope this is a good turnout otherwise it will be the last effort made to organize any X meets and FB page will be taken down
