In Lust with the Z4

So I test drove a Z4 35i and I must admit that it is giving me second thoughts about getting the X6. I realize that there is no way to compare the two cars in terms of what their purpose is but driving the Z4 was a such a positive experience. And it doesn't hurt that its an absolutely beautiful looking car.

I may need to be spoken off the ledge in regards to canceling my X6 order!

Hah, shows what you know. I'd keep the AWD drive C-class that I was going to trade-in for the X6. Snow isn't the big problem here in Pittsburgh, its all the hills that will get you in trouble.

I had the same dilema, and eventually went with the X6 50i.

Changed my mind and went for the Z4. The X6 may have to wait another year.

So was my wife. Nothing like a little indecision to drive the wife crazy with. Now I just need to find another obsession....

I'm in a similar boat, I think you should heavily consider getting the regular SPORT package which includes the Adaptive Drive... this is what makes the x6 defy physics when driving around the curves...

Also curious about your wholesale price.. do you mean wholesale pricing before incentive?

Captain,

Also that "confidential price list" can also be found a kbb.com where anyone can price their vehicle comparing retail to wholesale..

Everyone remember now, when you see the whole sale that does not include the Holiday Incentives now available... so when you say you're paying "$1000 OVER WHOLESALE" you're really paying $3000 over wholesale adjusted for incentives..

I'm very close to ordering an x6 5.0i.. my best offer is about $600 below the adjusted wholesale accounting for incentives....

Hope this helps...
