Black high-gloss window shadow line

I have noticed that the black high-gloss window shadow line gets swirl marks easily in spite of being extra careful when cleaning and drying the car (using micro weave fiber). Not sure if that part of the car can be waxed or not since it is essentially black chrome. Any suggestions for care and protection would be appreciated.

i have same on x3,well there is no much help if someone touch it!
