x5 xdrive35i premium

Hi, I am planning to buy a pre-owned/used 2011 x5 xdrive35i premium model SUV (convenience, technical, cold weather package, navigation system, third row seat etc) with around 33K mileage on it. This is a CPO vehicle and is about 2 years old. The dealer quoted the new 2013 model with the same configuration around $52K. What should be a reasonable price for this used vehicle? Thanks!

I just did it.

First car we saw was traded in at a Land Rover dealership.

2011 Alpine White/Oyster interior with 36,000 miles
Convenience Package
Comfort Package
Technology Package
Cold weather package

Asking price was $45k. Issues with it was that the original owner swapped out the RFTs with conventional ones, and the car didn't have a spare. It also wasn't a CPO since it was at a non BMW dealership. Car was very clean except for discoloration on one side of the back seat where they had a child seat.

The second, which is the one we bought is...

2011 Premium Alpine White/Oyster with 31,000 miles
Certified Pre-owned
Brand new RFTs with the space saver spare
Convenience package
Comfort package
Technology package
Cold weather package

We got it for $45K

We were set on the Alpine White/Oyster combination so choices were limited. If you're open to other color combinations, there are quite a few coming off lease.

Good luck!

Wow, Comfort seats.
That's a very nice option.
Now that I have this option, don't see how I'd have another X5 without it.

Thanks to all that responded. The CPO vehicle in question got sold even before we could react and make an offer. CPO X5 seems like a hot item now Surprisingly, these vehicle are getting sold much higher (alteast in Colorado) than what the fair price in KBB shows.

I have the following two related questions:

1) For '13 X5 35i model with the options below, you think the rate should be dropped below $52K? How much less?

- Convenience Package (panoramic moonroof, navigation, heated front seats, a third-row seat)

2) Can I have some ideas on to negotiate and get a good deal?

Pretty sure he's trying to tell u to get a new one for $52k, if such a deal does exist. You should be able to negotiate a deal for invoice + up to $1k for the car. Goto bmwconfig.com to see the invoice price. GL
