If you started in New York you would maybe get to the middle of Pennsylvania...Has BMW sold that many...???

Sales have been incredible considering the economy.

The first year 40k units were built. 20k for U.S. and 20k destine for foreign markets.

However, due to the economy, BMW has directed much of their premium cars to markets where they can get top dollar. So the U.S. only got about 5k of the 40k and most have been sold with little dealer inventory.

Keep in mind in 2008, BMW only sold around 4k 6 series in the U.S. Previous year was 9k units in the U.S.

Ok, so we'll have plenty of flags from Europe, Eastern Europe, the Arabian peninsula, and a few owners in Asia.
