Lux or Vtech AEs?

I've heard and read good things about both.

There seem to be some new dtech bulbs but not sure if they work as well as v7s?

What is the advantage of going with Lux? Do they flicker as some sites say?

Thanks for your help. Going to buy this weekend!

Can you link to vtech? Not sure I have heard of that.

The dtec bulbs I would skip. Every photo of them I have seen the solder job on them do not look good.

Dtech, my bad. Thanks for your input though.

E92 lighting isn't responding to my questions so might end up going different direction

Why don't you all respond to questions from your website? I've posted 3 times and no response. It doesn't help to have that pop up chat feature if no one is there to answer customer questions

From extensive research and friends recommendation, they all suggested LUX V4. It is expensive but you get quality and 1 year warranty with it. I just ordered one from Bimmian but is it back ordered

I bought a pair from e92-lighting and couldn't be happier. Of course with these types of replacements the inner is always going to be brighter, but I like how it looks at night. Day time, you can see it too but nothing like the lci ones.

We were out of stock last week with them and we just got a shipment up to them this morning actually. It should be arriving to them within the next few days. Sorry to keep you waiting

There are places that offer 30 day satisfaction guarantee plus a lifetime warranty. With how many negatives that are posted about some of the vendors I always wonder why they are pushed so hard.

Mtech v4 - $150.00

If you want to spend $200 plus, by all means go ahead. The lux bulbs are adjustable, which is why you are paying a higher price, for the ability to adjust them.

The MTEC V4 lights are for the pre-lci E90 sedan, not the lci models so this product isnt compatible.

Interesting, I did not know that. Lux may be an only option then. At least the only quality option where you know the resistors wont blow in 6 months and then your blowing light codes.

There are other options for sure.

We have many configurations for H8 including 40, 60 and 80W. We also have E90 PRE LCI and E90 LCI versions too. All comparable to Lux and Mtech. 1 Year Warranty also.

We may be getting Mtech down the road just because of all the name brand loyalty but they are all very similar in nature and output at the end of the day.

Since vendors are chiming in on this thread we'll do that too.
We carry our own angel eyes products

and LUX

As mentioned above, LUX provide the ability to change color temperature.
I think this is the only plug and play kit that does that at the moment (might be wrong though)

Sorry to thread jack, but since venders are getting in on this thread about lighting, I figure it would be a good time to ask LOL.

Im looking for LED ae for a LCI e90, the car has xenons and not halogen headlights if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Not a jacked thread at all, your question applies to this thread also. You can use a H8 style bulb, whcih is being discussed currently.

Yes the LUX H8 V4 angel eyes are adjustable color from a 5000K white to a 12,000k cool white color. As well they operate at 100% brightness so they are as bright as possible all the time

Sort of on topic. I'm on my second set of led angle eyes and the driver side just went out. What is the best option at $100 or so?

It depends on the car.
the e92 is very easy takes less than 10 minutes
the 1 series is easy too but the tricky part is installing the black cover
if i can get your email i will gladly send you an installation guide so you have an idea how it is done.
