New Here

Hey everyone, just dropping in to say hey. I am the new owner of a 2012 X5 35i Premium and I am in love with this vehicle so far. We purchased it with 106k on the odometer with a lot of service recently done on cooling system and suspension.

Since we purchased it, I put new Continental CrossContact LX25 tires on, the roof rack and basket and we had the front suspension serviced by an Indy here. New front struts and mounts, new front lower control arms and had to replace the tie rod to get alignment on spec. Also just updated Nav Maps to 2020 thanks to a few good guys on here. Working on getting INPA and Ista-D installed on my laptop and excited to see where we go from here.

The new tires and front suspension makes this drive even more like a dream than when we purchased it.

Anyway, glad to be here and thanks for all of the help so far! Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome and Very clean looking X5! I am getting ready to do the front myself, its not too bad but at 150K on the clock, I am starting to sense a little looseness where there was none before. Not complaining considering how many miles I have

Mine had a very noticeable **CLUNK** over every little road bump on the drivers side. I was hopeful that it was just an endlink, but no such luck. I don't have the space to do the work myself, so to the shop it went. It drives incredibly smooth now.
