E70 2009 BMW X5 Inner Tail Light - Does not light up even though bulb is not busted
E70 2009 BMW X5 Inner Tail Light - Does not light up even though bulb is not busted
For some reason, the inner tail light (the "red" tail light located on the trunk vs. the outer light that flashes when you brake or turn) stopped lighting up/turning ON. Upon inspection, I noticed that the bulb was perfectly fine. I even replaced it with a brand new bulb just in case there's something wrong with it but the light still doesn't come on. The socket where you screw the bulb in has calcium deposits/water stains. What can I do to fix this? Can someone post pictures of how to remove the panel behind the trunk door, as I am unable to dismantle it -- having big issues with removing the top part of the panel near the windshield? Thanks in advance! Last edited by BMW_Diesel_Owner; 07-26-2017 at 08:29 AM.. |

On second thought, are you sure that this is supposed to light up? Aren't those the rear fog lights (or brake force distribution lights)? I have been running my LCI tails for so long I forgot which bulbs light up on the pre-lci lights.
