New Tires Transform X6

Replaced the stock Dunlop run flats at 12k with Bridgestone dueller HP non run flats. I expected some improvement in ride comfort and noise level but not a massive change. Boy, was I wrong. The improvement is night and day with no loss in handling. I will never buy run flats again.

Do you have or did you buy a spare tire for your car?

Tirerack reviews rate the non runflat duelers very high with 30-40k mileage. I will most likely get the non-runtflat duelers when my Dunlops wear out as well.

I have a spare so not worried about getting a flat.

I assume its one of those repair kits that you inflate the tire with and it seals the puncture from the inside of the tire?

If so, what do you do if your tire sustained more damage than a simple puncture?

I have been told that my run flats will have to be replaced at 15k, after my recent trip that's only a couple of K away. Guess I will have to decide then about RF vs No RF.

Amazing. I am at 12k miles and less than 1/2 tread used.
