X6M chips infront of rear wheel base

Hey all,
I\'m getting mad chips on both sides of the bottom side skirts of rear seat area, right infront of the rear wheel base. They are really small stone chips, I\'m guessing from the huge tires. But is this supposed to happen? I can\'t believe BMW\'s $100,000 car was designed to have these chips, wtf?

Also getting a very high pitch, radio signaly sound, when I first start my car. It disappears after a few minutes but it sounds as tho my radio\'s on, and it\'s not.

I love my x6m. Help me save him!

That is a well known and documented (on the forums) issue with all X5s and X6s with painted side skirts and wheel arches. Search the forum and you will see multiple X5m and X6m owners complaining of this issue.

Based on other members posts, it seems like BMW is aware of this as well. A few members have posted that they got BMW to pay for repainting and clear bra installation in the effected areas. I would talk to the dealer and see if they are willing to fix this issue.

I guess that is why they were black to begin with.
