Which Snap in adapter for iphone 4 do I need? BMW plugin.

I think there is 2 versions of the snap in adapter. One only does blue tooth and the other allows for BMW plugin. Can someone help?

The Media version - it is just out in last day or so at dealers and has been back ordered for a while. Do not get the "Music" one, must be the "Media" one.

You can use the apps without a snap in adapter. All you need is a USB. I want to be able to have video and plugin capabilities.

I think this adapter does it too, or am I missing something?

Yes it does, but you mentioned to use your apps. The apps will work with just a USB. This adapter is more for the plugin. I didn't think they would have it in the website already, this is the one i think i need to get plugin working. Thanks.

I had full iPod Nano functionality with the Y-Connector. When I hooked up my iPhone 4, it just did the music part, no app functionality (same with the USB connection). The phone works great for a phone through Bluetooth. Hopefully the adapter does the trick.

You will only have to remove a small plastic cover from the existing piece that is inside the armrest console by pressing the release button. Then you just popping it in. Easy, no tools are needed.

Sorry but you will still have to start up the apps (BMWconnect and pandora) on the iPhone.

Glina. Any differences over the USB? What other functions does it allow for? Does it have the correct iPod functions of previous track and next track when using the steering wheel buttons? This has been an issue with the USB connection.

That reall urks me. Especially the fact that with either app loaded if you get a text and want to respond the apps close out.
