2011 X5 35i Leak under driver side

Hi Everyone,
This morning I noticed a trail of fluid coming from my X5 underneath the driver's side. Looks like it's a clear fluid, most likely water. I didn't try to start the car yet so not sure if it will throw any messages but does anyone know what this could be? The car has 52000 miles on it.

AC runoff as stated above or...

Is it wet outside (i.e., rain, sprinklers, etc.)? This has caught me off guard once or twice. Driving through even a pothole a few hundred feet away and then parking in the garage...then having a puddle of water underneath vehicle when I come out again.

Possible coolant expansion tank crack. Make sure it's not colored/sweet-smelling fluid. My expansion tank leaked at one of the plastic seams before finally letting go completely at the shop. It wasn't easy to see from the top of the tank, since it was a horizontal seam.

If it's front driver's side, that's a likely culprit.

This happened to mine, replaced under warranty.
