Radiator change low coolant?

I just replaced my radiator (thank you for the applause in he background, I am quite proud of myself) I flushed out all old green coolant by detaching the expansion box and running the water pump. Once I got all green fluid out I tried to drain tap water out to replace with distilled water and blue stuff. I drained out as much as I thought was in and started to add blue stuff but the car didn't seem to hold much. Now the expansion box is full but dash says it low on coolant. Been watching temp gauge but haven't gone that far from home. Had it up to 72 Celsius so far. I feel the system should of burped by now.

did you bleed it while engine is running and heating is on?
if i were you i d drain it all again..

Well soon after I sent this post the light went off. All seems to be running good, but I think I will flush it again. I would rather have distilled water in there with blue BMW then tap water.
