It blows my mind this company is number one in sales. The most boring cars on the road, cheap shit all over, and not innovative. They are reliable

It's designed more for the Chinese market rather North America. Lexus starting to sell more cars there now so it's something we should all get used to now...

Different class of car than M4. It competes with M6.

If you want some excitement install a luxury bidet or use expensive moist towelets
Yes I just compared Lexus to toilet paper. Double ply
Both bland, boring and safe

M is like that jet of water , will it miss ? Will it cleanse completely on the first try??

I just came over from a 2013 IS250 F-Sport. It was a very nice car. The interior quality was every bit as nice as my 2016 M235i, better in some respects (I'm looking at you, super lame sun visors). It handled decently on the curvy roads I drove it on. Where it was lacking was in power, 0-60 was not what I wanted, it was slow off the line. That didn't make it a bad vehicle, just not the right one for me.

I've always had lexus trucks 2 lx570s and now I have a gx460. The trucks are really nice and comfortable gotta say I like them a lot. I also have a GS350 F and I just can't wait to get out of it one the most boring cars i've ever driven. Lexus cars are just reliables and I think that's why people buy them.
Still waiting to see what comes out of bmw/toyota venture and the next supra

I want to stop people who drive a Lexus and ask them why the fuck would they buy such an atrocious vehicle, especially an IS250. The car takes about a day to reach highway speeds and gets shitty mileage.

As drop dead gorgeous the LC500 looks, they will fuck something up with it. It'll probably have the handling capabilities of a cruise ship and take 5 seconds to hit 60 mph because it weighs as much as a locomotive.
Finally, someone with the same opinion for the Beverly Hills Toyota as I do.

This. Plus I find the Lexus styling, including the LC500, to be polarizing. I really don't like what they have done with their cars.

Went through these pages not even knowing what it looks like!
Pretty cool looking, but my bets lie around 3,700 lbs for it.

The LC500 is one car that has stayed as close as possible to the concept prototype.

The Lexus LC500 was definitely the best car at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show

Certainly don't have that to worry about with the current crop of ICE BMWs.

I just bought a CPO GS350. I wanted, in order: a quiet, comfortable highway cruiser; reliability / low TCO; sufficient power; value for my hard-earned dollar. I wasn't looking for a stoplight dragster or the car with the quickest Nordeschleife times. I barely considered the Germans.

I drive the GS 2.5 hours one way to my remote office once a week. It's no Z coupe on the secondary roads but it is far from unpleasant. From onramp to offramp it is a champion. The car loafs along at 80mph while returning 25mpg. If I need 'go' it delivers. If I need 'slow' it delivers. All with an 'as you say, sir' kind of nonchalance. I arrive as fresh as when I left.

So, Lexus haters, please hate on. For my sake, and for the sake of CPO Lexus price curves, hate on.

I drove Lexus for 14 years... I had an ES, GS and LS and my wife had an RX. Not really a "hater" of the Lexus brand, but neither my wife nor I like the current Lexus styling, so we decided to try the Germans (Audi and BMW), which we prefer now. Since this is a BMW forum, you probably shouldn't be too surprised when someone expresses a preference for BMW and dislike of something about Lexus or any other brand.

This thing is hideous I'm sorry. If your looking for a practical cruiser why not get the Avalon? The RCF is pretty nice but I wouldn't even consider it over the substantially faster and prettier M3/4. This LC500 is gaudy and awful i'm sorry... christ its awful.

Me neither; my GS is 2011. They've been toning it down but still... sheesh.

I've been online since the 1980's. I'm not surprised by much that people post on internet forums.

I'm def not a Lexus hater but rather a fan. However, I will be replacing my 2014 GS350 for a M4. Sorry lexus but I really don't care for the new GS as I think the previous two generations were sooo much better and yes I did own the two prev GS generations

I bet if it had a BMW badge on it people would be in awe of how nice it looks. I'm not a Lexus fan but this is far from hidious. I will certainly give it a try once my lease is up.

We'll have to agree to disagree.
