New tires for X5d?

I have a 2011 X5 35d, looking for new tires on my 18s. Currently it has 255 55r18 Bridgestone rfts. I'm thinking of going with Pireli Verde all seasons in the same size and a non rft tire. Any opinions or other options out there to go with or stay away from? Thanks!

Are they fairly quiet? I guess that's one of my biggest concerns. Don't want the tire noise to drown out the turbo whistle.

If you decide to stay with the Bridgestone RFT's let me know. I have a set that came off my truck with only a couple thousand miles on them for $450. 255/55/R18

Yup they are pretty quiet. If you are coming from run flats it'll be a big difference.

Keep the 'stones.

the contis (and the michelins) are very sketchy in mid to deeper snow....and you're in upstate NY so it will matter.
