In the market for X5 35D

hello people, I am in the market for an X5 35D as the tittle says.....so my wife and I had our first baby Nathan on the 12th of November . I currently have 2006 330i looking to sell it or trade it in because of the space issue..I am looking at 2011 or 2012 alpine white with a sport package, is there any deals out there as far as eco credit or dealer incentives. oh by the way I am from Canada and am from British columbia...Is there anything to lookout for or option must have or can do without.

thanks guys

ps. Although, I did take 2011 X5 35D for a test drive and am really impress with it.

Congratulations on the baby!

I traded my 2006 E90 330i in for a 2011 X5 35d in Aug, so I know what you're talking about. I believe there is still a $2.5K eco credit and possibly a Navigation credit ($1750). On top of that you can get the mission to drive credit or a BMW CCA credit. Most people are getting deals of $500-1000 over invoice minus the incentives.

As far as options I am really loving the premium sound and comfort seats. I personally couldn't have done the base seats or steering wheel so I upgraded to the sport activity package too. I get a lot of compliments on the running boards. I would have loved to get adaptive drive but couldn't justify the cost. It rides great without AD just not as sporty as the E90.

Search around the board for more info, there are a lot of threads. Good luck!

I did same here....5 series to X5 diesel when baby was born. Most convenient option with baby has been the comfort access. This makes it much easier when your hands are full and you don't have to dig around in your pocket for the key. Have been very happy with the X5 with one baby.
