2008 X5 3.0si

Just bought this BMW a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it didn\'t come with an iPod ready adapter but came with a USB port. How do I go about hooking my iPhone 4 to it and music play?

There should be two ports in your center box. An Aux input and the USB. You need the Y cable.

My '11 doesn't have the iPod ready adapter either, so I just plug the iPhone 3G into USB port, and get the full functionality (switching, FF, album art, etc).

With the 08, you definitely need the y cable for both ports.

Can someone send me a link to a y cable cuz the ones I see have three male ends and I don't know where I'm sticking the other two

I have my iPhone 4 but it won't play. Or show up on the screen
