My introduction and a 2011 Silverstone Metallic X5M

Hey all,
I’m new to the forum. I recently just acquired a 2011 X5M. I absolutely love this vehicle. I’ve long been an enthusiast. Now that I’ve returned to the F/I AWD fold I couldn’t be happier.

I can’t wait to get to know the contributors here and hopefully even with my extremely limited knowledge about these vehicles I can contribute as well. I’ve got a few plans for the M and I’m sure I’ll be asking for pointers in the near future. Basically the only thing I’ve done to it so far is tint.

My future plans are pretty simple but hopefully it will give off the tastefully modified look I’m going for.

I’ve only got one half way decent cellphone picture but it’s good enough for now...

Picture embedding isn’t working out for me so here’s a link to the pic.

Congats!! I picked up an 2011 X5M a few months ago up north and drove threw Oklahoma. I'm sure my X5M enjoyed the pure gas it got from there.

Yeah not sure what the plan is on that yet. I'm kind of a diy guy and have access to a tig setup so, I might go in a more of a one off direction. Probably won't get down pipes until I figure out a tuning solution. But, the system you guys have is very impressive.

I did diy painted black trim roundels, and installed my IND gloss black grilles. Next up is painted and smoked side markers, color matched reflectors and powder coated oem wheels for the winter months.

Undecided on suspension as of yet

I'll try and post up some better pictures asap

Did some diy this weekend. Painted and Smoked side markers to match my roundels and IND front grille set. Paint laid down super smooth...have some very minimal touch up around the "m" marker but I'm extremely happy with them at $30 cost as opposed to $250.

I also ordered 12/20mm H&R spacers and H&R lowering springs and links. Slotted Rotors, stainless steel brake lines and tires are next

It's a BMW...it's definitely only the beginning of how it'll rape your wallet
