Coding in Tri-State area by onebadmofo

Hey guys, this is an old thread and I cannot change the title anymore.
I've ended the free coding promotion few weeks ago, just a heads up for any newcomers. Here are the options and pricing

Great guy, that onebadmofo! He was quick to reply and was very accommodating. I just got my 2011 X5M coded with some great extra features this evening.

1. Remote open/close windows, sunroof, mirrors and tailgate.
2. On the move DVD playability (not really useful but cool to say it works)
3. Disabled amber parking lights

And my favorite
4. Got rid of the legal disclaimer in the iDrive System upon startup

I also got some other little less interesting but useful reconfigs as well. He took the time to program, suggest, and show me how to use. He's a real nice guy (but I think he's nuts for doing all this for freeeee.) I left him some beer there after he was done to distract him and ran out of there before he could come to his senses.

Check out www dot ********* dot com, they explain it all well and tell you what you need to do it. In the vehicle coding section, there is a thread on the x5 opening and closing codes for the rear door from the dash and key, I have coded the codes and all works great.

Thanks Dre!!!

GREAT WORK !!!!

1) Turn off seatbelt chime for passenger
2) Enable DVD in Motion
3) Rolling of windows and sunroof up with the keyfob.
4) Folding and unfolding the mirrors with the keyfob (and Comfort access door handle).
5) Allow one touch operation of the windows while the door is open.
6) Allow remote opening/closing of motorized tailgates on X5 with keyfob and in dash button.
7) Amber corned delete: turn off amber corner light when headlights or parking lights are on.
8) Fog lights stay on with high beams and turn off when bi-xenon flashing.
9) Make the rear fog lights work in tandem with brake lights.
10) Add the digital speedometer to non-M cars (V=## mph) in addition to existing options.
11) Remove the correction on digital speedometer
12) Have the windshield wipers complete the cycle and park when you shut the car off.

quick question.. can you also reprogram so the driver side door lock does not disarm the alarm?

i hear thieves found a way to enter the vehicle and disable the alarm by popping the lock and using a screwdriver to turn it off...

also heard there's a way to disable this door lock function and the dealer could possibly program this for you...

not sure...
