pick up my x6 40D on Friday,

does any one know if the middle and bottom mesh covers are available in black for the x6 here in UK my Dealer has ordered the black kidney grills from sports package but says he cant get the middle and lower sections of mesh is this the case?

Try visiting BMWLand forum and check out the tame BMW dealer on there (Cotswold BMW) who offer good discounts for forum members (free to sign up) and free delivery etc.

I also have a 40d (from new in Jan '11) and invested in 50i exhaust tips and fitting kit from Cotswold. Look the dog's and way way better than the stock round pipes. Need to get a bodyshop to spray up the replacement trims and cut out the old ones to fit but that's reasonably inexpensive.

Though I have now changed my mind and am removing the Hamann CF rear spoilers, to replace with white top edge version and white ACS whalefin rear deck model, you get an idea of the effect from the new exhaust trims here:
