Current X6 M Testing F10 M5 Powertrain??

Not sure what these pic's represent other than for sure a roundel camo'ed and serial numbered test mule.The exterior looks identical to the current X6 M as far as I can tell based on viewing the car and the pic's I took.I could not get a look inside the car.The logical conclusion is the testing is for something internal.The quad exhaust tips look non production to me...or they could just be dirty...I'm not sure.Given that the new F10 M5 is about ready to release with a "bumped" S63 TTV8...could the X5 and X6 M's receive the new S63 engine?? Is this X6 M testing the new F10 M5 powerplant? Makes sense to me. Thanks. PalBay
