Are '12 door downlights LED?
Can one of you new 2012 X6 owners tell me if the downlights on the doors are LED or regular? Not the ones in the handles, but the ones in the bottom of the doors.
I put LEDs in my E70. If the '12 X6 has LEDs, I'll leave 'em in there when I trade it (hopefully next week!), otherwise I'll switch them out for the old ones and put the LEDs in my X6. Thanks! |

They are regular but my aftermarkets ones from by 2009 worked perfectly.

You will love them. They were a little too bright for the footwells for my taste but love them under the doors.

Oo thats an interesting mod, i'd like to get rid of the yelloish light on the door sills! I tell you what is bugging me, my LED's on the door handles all seem to be a blue light apart from the one on the front passenger side which its noticeably more yellower than the others! How annoying!! Anyone else have this issue?

Sounds like a colour temperature issue. most LED lights particularly cheap ones have a really high colour temperature like 8000k which is really blueish.
