So what would be the cost of just a steering wheel upgrade? My car currently has a heated steering wheel and I want to keep that for any potential replacement.

Hey Huz!

The wheel I had also had heat and I had them tune the programming to allow one of the M buttons to act as a multifunction button and it controlled the heat of and off.

Otherwise you have to wire a button off the steering wheel and place it like the f15 and off the clock spring.

But it's all doable.

did you need to switch out the f10 paddle shifter resistors to match the e70 to get the paddles to work, or was it plug and play for you?

My f10 wheel paddles doesn't work on my e70. The old M sport e70 wheel works fine though. I opened up the circuit boards and they run different resistances.

the left images are the e70 board, and the right images are the f10 board.
Their is a guy that actually makes an adapter and it plugs from the steering wheel to the shifter and not that hard to install. He made me a harness but it was 400 bucks as it's just a hobby for him.

But mine did not have paddles from the factory.

Not sure if he still does it as it's been a few years now.

They look close enough have you tried to swap out the boards of the f10 paddles ? And put in your e70 ones in their ?
