X6M exhaust

hello:
everyone. i own a 2011 x6m for almost two years, recently i want to do some modification on my truck. wanna start with exhaust system first. really tired of the OEM exhaust. it sounds so soft, i want something that it has really deep sound. i owned a c63 amg before, but didnt like the sound that much, it was so raw. so i am looking for a really nice and deep exhaust system.
any suggestions?

thanks

A number of us are watching for another user's review of the Megan racing. The muffler costs about 340.00. Check out the x5m forum.

I have an Eisenmann Race on mine and it sets off car alarms 50ft away during the cold start cycle. LMAO

And it's a very deep rumble.

What else did u do to ur car? Did u install downpipes as well? Or resonator delete, etc? I just got my eisenmann race today and gonna install it tomorrow. Wondering if I should just delete the resonator (if there is any) as well?

I can't imagine a "just muffler" change will make any more noticeable db increase.

See this review on the full akra setup: http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=513708

Readers digest says that even with a full akra setup, the sound it yields is disappointing. The cats are the major restriction in this case. Remove cats = more noise.

you are wrong. the akra is actually a fairly quiet system! Only relatively louder than stock. However a "muffler only" is so noticeable. I had an eisenmann race and my x5m and it sounded like a full blown race car. my friend had an akra system and my car was way and i mean waaay louder. The cold starts are terrifying.
