Bimmerpost very unpleasant to read

I'm getting a Z4 and the Z section of the post is the place that holds the most information of the usual BMW forums. However...

It really is not very pleasant to read.

That weird split of bimmerpost into the various separate sites for the different models has been half implemented. The various sites spill into each other in some forms of searches, and the usercp. Some of those and other things are completely broken right now with the "duplicated headers received" error. It is unclear whether touching one of the other sites backed by the same forum changes the read status or not.

Then there is the spam. Payed for or not, the spammers need to do a better job of keeping things a bit more on-topic, and not clog up the "new posts" search functionality completely. That is particularly important for the Z section where the number of hand-crafted posts by members is lower.

Is this just temporarily messed up due to vbulletin 4.x changes or what's going on?

Absolutely terrible to read one of the smaller subforums today (e.g. Z4/e89). Especially with all the spam by need4speed and the like.

On-topic e89 is totally drowned out in "new posts".

And it looks like touching one of the sub-sites changes the reading status of all the others, at the same time this vbulletin install misses the newer feature when past post stay visible.
