Clearly a joke post, but seems like a match made in hell. V10 needs to be rev'd to the moon to get its measly sub 400 tq. Drop that into the heavy brick that the E70 is? Yuck.

I think adding twin turbocharger s to the S85 could make massive amounts of low end torque. Stock this engine makes good torque at around 3k rpm but not off idle like the n63/s63 motors.

The s85 can not handle boost, to high compression ratio, and to weak components inside..
It will never deliver more power than the s63 when it should live longer than a few miles.. Last edited by X Driver; 04-24-2015 at 11:47 PM.. |

i think it be cool to have 1200awhp v10tt s85 in x5m
i like to have top end power the most cause when i give it gas i like to have it 5000rpms and the s85 will have the power band all in the top. |

I'm sure it's doable, now the question is how much money do you have?? 100k? 200k? I'm sure someone will build it if you can write a check for 200k
Most of people on this forum simply does not know how to do it and don't think it would make any sense, but we aren't guys like G-power or PP-performance, if you have a target of 1200awhp, go for it, ship you car to germany and tell them what you want, I'm sure they will give it a try for you |

The flexplate is the least of your worries. It's either the one that came from your engine, or the one that came with your transmission. Eitherway, neither will work and will most likely require a machine shop to make it right. You'll probably have access to either plate, so you need to take measurements and then adjust accordingly while working with a competent machinist.
