You must be kidding me, that's some serious bad luck this season.
There's like a kill switch on his car, no matter how well he had driven, no mistakes, bang! Anyhow, good short battle between the RBR drivers, and finally for Riccairdo! Drinking from the shoe!!! On one of the most sweaty race in the season! So close of getting Webbo to drink from the shoe!

I said it before, the fix is in at Mercedes. Lol
That was good scrapping between the Red Bulls. It was kind of a snooze fest up until that point. McLaren Honda 7th, 9th... progress! Race start was awkward... commentators were saying an aborted start, but still went ahead. |

Feel gutted for Hamilton as he drove a great race and had it in the bag after a brilliant quali session. The conspiracy theorists will be out in full force, but what is the probability that all engine failures would essential fall on one of two identical cars? Bloody astronomical!
And is there any one of us who believes that MB management wouldn't just love to crow about a 'German' driver winning the WDC in a 'German' car? |

All of the AMG runners with the exception of HAM have had amazing reliability. This is simply an embarrassment now. There is no way, statistically, that in a cohort of 8 drivers running the same engine one set of engines has such a high rate of reliability. This is Mercedes freaking Benz forgawdsake. They ran 1. 1 Engine for preseason testing. DEAD RELIABLE. Now this? They are becoming the Hillary Clinton of Motor Racing. Ignore all of the evidence in front of you. Listen to what we say. These are not the 'droids you're looking for.

As a comparator you have Manor. Is anyone seriously going to tell me Manor does a better job of installing the AMG Petronas F1 engine in the back of an F1 car than AMG Petronas does in their car? It absolutely beggars belief. This is a statistical impossibility. If I had time I'd grab all of the stats of all of the starts by AMG engined cars and run a failure analysis. It would be a very interesting exercise. I don't believe in coincidences. Never have, never will. My dad, a Ph.D. who taught statistics had a saying: If the odds are a million-to-one, don't worry about the million, worry about the one. Cheers-mk

Wow, what a gift for Nico. But that's racing.
Fantastic race from a viewer's perspective, could have done without that drinking from the shoe thing though. Egads. |

Wow. What a bad luck for Hamilton. Started from the pole position, great start, perfect run, and bang, lights out of his motor.
I said bad luck, but there maybe something else is going on there How is it possible that one driver is so lucky and the other is not on more than a few occasions when they drive supposedly identical cars/setups? Also, drinking from a dirty sweaty shoe? Really? Looks like many ppl find it cool, I tend to think its simply disgusting.

Fantastic pics, as always
Yep, crazy race, Hammy should have won that easily, really really strange how he is having all the bad luck this season, 43 merc engines and he gets the bad bunch? Nice battle and racing from the RBR guys, and Honda/Mac did well. Ferrari seem to be suffering again now, such a shame. Vettel - 3 place grid penalty is a bit harsh.
