Subwoofer under sear question....again sorry please help!!!!
Does anyone know how many watts the stock amp feed the subwoofers under the seats in a
Premium sound - ? how many ohms are each sub? Individual audio - ? How many ohms are each sub? Reason I ask is I a, debating when I add an amp for my aftermarket sub in trunk (JL Stealth box) should I include 2 more channels to drive the seat subs more, or that and change out to the talked about earthquake subs you can buy. Please guys Any help is appreciated!! |

Hey there...
Were you able to upgrade the audio system eventually? I have a 2013 X5 and trying to do the same. Was searching online when I came across your thread! |

Just leave it as is,and amp your rear subs, and call it a day. They are too small and in a too small of an enclosure to be worthwhile for anything.
Take a look at what JL Audio did with their kit and how they wire it all up. I did something similar with Bav Sound speakers, my own Alpine 5ch amp, and JL sub. |
