It's interesting a saying that, yesterday I was watching ''The Perfect Storm'' film (I'm sure you have seen it) A true story about the fishing vessel Andrea Gail that was lost at sea off Massachusetts with it's crew which was caught up in a hurricane after their radio aerial broke. The boats captain played by Clooney was a madman that continued going out in the worsening conditions instead of turning back.
Only the boat's emergency beacon was washed up on a shore and an empty lifeboat out at sea was found.

With the updates on the 23 the car may start getting better in the rain, Maranello must be planning for rain affected races and having a system that the car can be switched to a wet/dry set up without too much difficulty.

I disagree, Max may still come out on top but it would definitely be a StarWars situation!!! Checo is a slappy and sucking the entertainment out of this season.

Checo is second in the championship albeit a country mile behind Max, simply because of the way the car is driven. Checo has tried to set it every which way to his own way and was slower, so just now he may be starting to 'Max drive it' with the tricky oversteer way.
Anyone else would have to go through the same pain process as Checo has and I can't see Marko getting someone else in to start from square one again.
