Anyone considered all-season tires for 20" wheels? I'm considering Michelin Latitudes for an occasional ski trip, rainy winters and hot summers. I was actually considering getting another set of wheels just for the summer and put the Latitudes on my factory wheels. Thanks for your input.

Bavarian Auto sells them.

http://www.bavauto.com

Best to call them. The website forces you to select a year and model; if you select X6 all you get is some valve caps. 800 535-2002.

You can find them at your BMW dealer parts department for like $3 each. And best of all, no shipping and you get them right away.

Way to go in colder climates (Scandinavia, Russia etc.) for people that drive most in cities (so no too much snow or off-road driving):

9x19 rims
255/55-19 Nokian WR G2 SUV

It is bit higher tyre, but it doesn't increase overall diameter for more than 8 mm, what is totally acceptable or even preferrable in winter conditions (with usual 0,2-0,3 bar lower pressure in tyres than in summer).

This combo was my final choice over Pirelli, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Continental and Dunlop sets tried on various frined's cars.
Tyre is not extremal winter type, but in most cities it is not necessary to choose extremal tyres. On the other hand, it is very good on dry or wet roads, also when temperatures are higher (when winter tyres typically don't do great job).
Noise and ride comfort is among the best in class.
Warmly recommended (and price point is right).
