Trunk lighting (boot)

Hello, the interior of my X6 is black and the trunk or boot if you are in the UK is awfully dark, are there any LED or other bulbs that I could simply replace the existing tailgate lights with? If so, where do I get them from?
I've looked around but so far I've only found footwell lights.

I'm not scared of the dark or anything, honest

I replaced my tailgate lights and the lights in the bottom of all the doors with white LED, they are all the same type. I got them off ebay, a straight swap with no errors. They are much brighter then the halogen stock bulbs and match the LEDs in the door handles.

I've also changed out the rear reg plate lights with LEDs.

looks much better than stock

They work great. I've got them indoor the doors and tailgate. For me, they were too bright for the footwells.

Where did you get them from in the end? I looked at the link posted by Danny and the ebay listing had ended. And if you don't mind, how much did you pay for them?

Hi Mark,

It's worth contacting the guy directly on eBay. I bought the first pair from him via eBay then another 2 pairs directly from him for I think around £36 Inc postage. I recommend him, got them the next day.

Cheers Danny

I got mine from Nigel Marston but he doesn't have any left either, I'll be contacting dannym's suggestion as I want them in my door lights now.

Thanks dannym
