Perf Wheel Installed

As you can see I chose not to keep the Y piece in alcantara. I wanted the wheel to have some contrast and a unique finish so I had and it pained to match the rest of the interior trim which I had refinished to the exterior color. Also had the button surround trim painted to give it a more complete look.

Very nice DK! I think that it adds a very nice touch with the color matched trim pieces!

are you doing anything with the trim piece on the gear shifter? I want to have it wrapped but I can't figure out how to take it off - if it even does.

Thanks dude!! You know what I forgot about that piece...LOL...i know for a fact it does come off. You'll need one of those trim piece removal tools. I know its got to be a pain in the ass cause its small and you really cant wedge anything under it.

I might redo that little area also...its very plastic and cheap looking...once i get my ride back ill look at everything and see what else i can get my hands on..

Very cool and unique!
The trim matches very well. When you were looking for the steering wheel did you come across after market paddles for the steering wheel? Just wondering if anyone sells longer ones like Ferrari/lambo have on their cars.

Nah....didnt look too hard for the wheel...saw that BMW performance was releasing it for the X so i got it.

Im sure there is someone out there that makes better paddles.. Although the fact that both paddles work the same way and not like REAL paddles not sure if it really matters...I think ill wait till my next X..hopefully they will have more of a kick ass transmission with proper flappy paddles that work the proper way
