I just purchased my Schwaben 11 piece trim kit removal from my Local Kmart for under $30. Its probably a better way to go than the 5 piece because of all the extra tolls you receive for a few bucks more.

It depends on the level of interest. Front and rear signals can be swapped to LED without any issues. However, it seems that while the brake, reverse, and license plate bulbs can be replaced without throwing a code, these will flicker for a few seconds upon startup (during bulb check). As far as I can tell there is no way around this without coding (which I am currently planning to do, since they look great when installed).

The rest of the bulbs should be arriving late this week, or early next week (naturally Christmas throws everything off).

Here's a few firsthand tips from my install experience.

1. Get the non-marring trim tool kit. You don't really need a full set to install these lights, but having at least one plastic tool will make installing most of the bulbs a breeze.

2. The rear dome/reading lights are a real b*#ch to get out. The ECS instructions make it sound like you're trying to get the light housing out from the metal ring, but I found it easier to bend the metal ring itself a bit and slide the whole thing out. Either way, you will want to go slow and take your time here...these housings are mostly plastic and will likely break if you try to force them too hard.

3. I think ECS has their bulb placement a bit mixed up, so I decided to make a few adjustments. You can probably go either way here, but I preferred like housings to all have the same style bulbs, and personally I think this layout just makes more sense.

1 SMD
- 2 Rear reading lights

5 SMD
- 1 Front dome light
- 2 Front reading lights
- 1 Glove box light
- 2 Rear footwell light (directly below seat)

9 SMD
- 4 Puddle lamps (bottom of doors)
- 2 Front footwell lights (under dash)
- 2 Rear trunk hatch

8 SMD (festoon)
- 2 Vanity lights (only place they'll fit)

Got my lights today!! Installed half of them when I was in work earlier today. Will install the rest tomorrow! So far what I installed (dome,trunk hatch,and mirror) was straight forward and easy! Also looks great super bright ! Thanks again for this group buy so happy I got these !! Everything I open my door it puts a smile on my face. Will post some pics once I finish my install!
