Water Sloshing/Trapped?
When I first got my X5 I heard a sloshing sound in the driver door/rear driver side door area when I come to a stop and start off. Its a pretty loud slosh and sounds like a good amount of water. I removed the rear seats and peeled the carpet back to find massive amounts of water in the carpet/foam. After a few days of tracing all sources of leaks we found the entire carpet front to back was wet, and the AC condenser was leaking. We had the dealership fix the condenser (out of warranty), and the sound was gone (they kept the car 5 days).
Fast forward to yesterday, we had a decent amount of rain and the sound is now back, however it doesn't look like there is any water entry into the car so I guess the two issues were unrelated. Any idea on where to start to try and find this trapped water? |

I can't tell exactly where it is coming from, I am going to try to get someone in the back and see if they can tell, but there is definitely water trapped somewhere.
