We show you the Schlumpf Collection - Mullhouse, France...
Cité de l'Automobile - National Museum - Schlumpf Collection
What ever you want to call this museum... its simply astounding, how big and awesome this collection of classic cars is. I'm pretty sure they have the largest collection of Bugatti cars in the world. They also have some very nice race cars that have run in Le Mans. And then they have the odd and bizarre cars that only the French could possibly love and adore. This is one of those museums you MUST go to visit! I think they must have over 400 cars here. The Schlumpf Collection is simply amazing!! For me, my favorite part was the large hall with various races cars that have competed in Le Mans over the years. Its such an awesome display of Motorsports in one place.  I know the museum has a sister museum across town that has lots of steam locomotive trains. I've never been to that "other" museum. But maybe that might interest some of you guys. You can buy a "combo" ticket to see both museums in a 30 day period. Something to think about. Also... this part of France is fairly desolate(I think)... I've been to Mulhouse a few times... but only for the day... then I pop back into Germany or head onto other points into France. Just FYI.  The Schlumpf Museum is realy mind blowing big. Its not my favorite museum, but its very interesting. They must have over 600 cars here. And I would bet about 200 of those are Bugatti's. I think everyone should go see this place at least one. But their website and FB sites do not say that.
