This guy was trying to sell me some wheels - I tried to respond to a PM and couldn't - checked his profile, and it says he was banned. Anyone know why, or whether it would still be a good idea to explore buying wheels from him?

Depends on the price!
But seriously - if he was booted for making fun of someone, it one thing, if he was trying to scam people it would be quite another. He's close enough that a face to face transaction would be feasible. |

think i saw he was booted for having 5 accounts all in different cities. Not to pass judgement without the facts but probably not someone you want to do business with.

I thought it odd that he wanted to sell his X5M LED headlights and swap them with regular ones because "his wife didn't like the look".

yeah. odd that he has lots of pieces of cars for sale that are generally considered "upgrades". not that many people out there trying to turn a 2013 to a 2011.
